Most around Miami strive to be the most expensive of whatever they do, in an attempt to attract the 1% and those trying to get past their velvet rooms. Mac's Club Deuce sees things differently. Being considered the cheapest of the cheap is an accolade worth our time. Smoke and mirrors
Dave Hoeksta from the Chicago Sun-Times reminisces about a recent visit to Mac's Club Deuce while in town for a Cubs-Marlins game. It wasn't his first time at The Deuce and hopefully not his last. Dave tells the story of John Hughes introducing him to Mac's when he (John) lived here, writing for the old Miami News. Home Away From Home
We can't say when we first met Anthony Bourdain, but we know it was well before his latest visit. Like many, Bourdain thinks of Mac's Club Deuce as a home away from home. It's fitting for anyone considering our proprietor, Mac Klein has felt the same way for over forty years. It's always a delight when old friends walk through those double doors and this time it meant a little more.
