Laine Doss over at Miami New Times has all the places you want to hit on the beach during SOBEWFF this weekend. While we don't kiss and tell in real time, we always appreciate a post and a mention after the fact. When you've been around for 82 years not much surprises you anymore. That's not the case today with the publication of famed Scottish author Irvine Welsh's new book, Crime: A Novel. We know many Deucers consider themselves well read and they've spotted Irvine in our beautiful cream bunker during his visits to Miami over the last decade or so. We're sure Duecers will know exactly who he's describing in this scene as he meticulously recounts the interior of Mac's Club Deuce.

We can't say when we first met Anthony Bourdain, but we know it was well before his latest visit. Like many, Bourdain thinks of Mac's Club Deuce as a home away from home. It's fitting for anyone considering our proprietor, Mac Klein has felt the same way for over forty years. It's always a delight when old friends walk through those double doors and this time it meant a little more.
