On the favorites list

In a tribute to one of our favorite Deucers, Anthony Bourdain, writer Ryan Pfeffer offered a bit of history on the love the celebrity chef had for Mac Klein and his bar Mac's Club Deuce. With more insight than most, Ryan looks back at the kinship of Bourdain and Klein, both singing the accolades of the other. You see, Ryan had the good fortune of to interview Mac for a feature in another publication about his 100th birthday back in 2015. Ryan recalls Mac speaking "fondly of Bourdain" and "grateful for the attention and effort the host took to understand this city". One could say both men made the favorites list.
