When a man professes his love, you listen. We listened to our friend, celebrity chef, Anthony Bourdain tell the world how much he loved Mac's Club Deuce for as long as we can remember. Like true love, it never gets old. Before his death in 2018, Anthony and his longtime assistant Laurie Woolever where collaborating on a project compiling his existing writings and interviews. Woolever has fulfilled Bourdain's vision with World Travel: An Irreverent Guide. Once again, Bourdain's words hits us in the feels. Like many a love, we believe it was fate, one legend in the making befriending another all those years ago. The only thing better than Tony's telling of our story was the gift of hearing it from Mac himself. If you were one of those luck ones, hold on to that magical memory and for everyone else, believe Bourdain when he says, "I love this place.".
